At KEPW’s community potluck this month we will be celebrating Our Community Labor movement! This National US Holiday has its origins in the labor movement and celebrates American workers. People celebrate Labor Day with picnics, sports events, and street parades.
Labor Day is on the first Monday of September every year and is a perfect day for KEPW to celebrate with a potluck since KEPW Potlucks regularly occur every first Monday of the month. We meet in the park during the Summer and upstairs at Growers Market (454 Willamette St., Eugene) in Winter.
