KEPW Youth Radio Project

The KEPW Youth Radio Project is a part of KEPW’s mission to bring voices on the air which are otherwise left unheard!  We know how important it is to hear from our next generation and we are proud to have youth on the air regularly.  Tune in to hear from youth local to Eugene and as far away as Alaska sharing what they feel is important as well as fun topics.  Empowering our youth is crucial, especially during these challenging times and the KEPW Youth Radio Project is honored to be a part of giving our youth a place to be heard!

In the KEPW Youth Radio Project we train youth at our weekly meeting and individually to share their voices on KEPW-LP  97.3FM and www.kepw.org.  We have many different ways that young people can learn about radio production, from hosting or co-hosting a show on the topic that means the most to them to audio editing and production skills of all kinds.  We are always looking to find more young people to share the excitement and empowerment that naturally comes when we feel heard, so if you are between 10 and 20 years old or know anyone in that age group that might want to adventure into the world of radio you can reach out on our website www.kepw.org, email stationmanager@kepw.org or call 541-833-0622 and leave a message and we will return your call promptly.

Again for more information go to www.kepw.org or our Friends of KEPW Facebook page, email stationmanager@kepw.org or call 541-833-0622.

KEPW is proud to bring youth voices on the air through our Youth Radio Project. This page is a work in progress and is being created by the youth on air at KEPW 97.3FM and online at www.kepw.org.
