Last month we had a big KEPW Thank You to the Community Party and our headlining band was a fun Zimbabwean group called De Solution.
For some of the songs, a musician named RAS INDIO joined them onstage.
Listening to the positive message in his music, we knew we wanted to get some of his tracks on the air for our Northwest Local Music Mix, and he was kind enough to email us some, however, we would love to get some more.
Originally from Belize, Ras Indio is an award-winning Reggae artist who has been delivering positive messages through his music for over a decade. Like many of us, he somehow found his way from his hometown to Eugene and is now sharing his art here in town.
He has released a lot of music on digital platforms worldwide. For example, you can listen on Soundcloud
His musical style will be very relatable as it leans towards a World/ Reggae sound.
He has a very family-friendly style if you know what we mean (no swearing) and his music is accessible to audiences of all ages.
